Description

Ancient Egyptian ushabti with very fine detail in beautiful blue turquoise faience. Very legible hieroglyphics that can be read add to the value of this piece. An example of one of the 365+ ushabtis that would accompany the deceased into his tomb so that he would not have to work in the afterworld. Hands hold tools and a sack on the back. A detachable beard is portrayed such as was used in Tutankhamen's tomb effigy.
