Description

An Early Corinthian small bowl with wide mouth with seven incised and painted soldiers with shields covering whole body. Stylized columns or animals separate the figures. During the 7th century Corinth was the political and economically most dominant of the city states. This bowl shows a martial interest owing to their geo-political strength.
