Description

A very fine Ancient Egyptian ushabti, those 365 workers whose figures were included in the tombs of the wealthy to accompany and serve them in the afterlife. Lovely blue faience with use of the more rare cobalt blue to emphasize the hair dropping on the shoulders. Refined elegant detail on the face. A fine example of the artist's use of ancient glass.
Beautiful custom Lucite stand displays well.
