Description
An ancient Luristan bowl with high sides and a small raised tondo in the center. Of simple form, constructed by pounding over a form usually of wood. Uncleaned, with verde green patina on the inside and brown patina on the outside. Red Sotheby's sticker affixed to the inside adds to its provenance.
