Description

A superlative combination of rare cobalt blue and turquoise blue faience. Ushabtis were the 400+/- small figures of servants plus supervisors who accompanied well-to-do Egyptians to ease the passage to the afterworld. Ushabtis were a major component of Egyptian funeral rituals. They carried tools in each hand and a sack on their back.
Mounted on a custom Lucite stand.
