Description
A really incredible example of ancient Han Dynasty Chinese ceramics in a time when artists tried to replicate the expensive bronze treasures with less expensive ceramic art. This beautiful earliest example of Celadon is a grey pottery tripod censer. With finely molded ogre mask and loose rings, elephant head and feet, with an early glazed beautiful celadon green burnish. Truly something unusual and beautiful! Displays really well.
