Description
This piece of fossilized ivory is buffed to a high shine and can be worn as jewelry or enjoyed in its natural state. It can be shaped for use as a pendant. The rippled rounded side is the outside bark of the tusk. The piece was found on a spoil island in the Indian River lagoon dating from the Ice Age or earlier when Florida was twice as big and the ocean far away.
