Rare example of ceramic firing stand used to protect and separate pieces of ceramic during the firing process. These tripod like pieces were almost never found because they were part of the kiln furniture. One can often observe the three marks imprinted by the stand on the base of the vessels themselves. Important example of ancient ceramic manufacture.
