Description
A charming example with partial brown glaze over natural terracotta. An interesting depiction of an ancient Chinese pan flute player. Forms of the pan flute, this most enduring and oldest musical instrument, have been found as early as 6000 years ago. It has been referred to in Greek mythology, discovered in 5th Mill BCE Peru, and even now in Papua New Guinea. This example was made during the Han Dynasty in China
