Grey pottery ancient Chinese Hu or Jar with opening on top used for serving liquids in daily use. Long necked with rounded body with good base support. Traces of original red polychrome remaining. Two concentric bands around the neck, a decorative 3" zigzag around the neck. Possible remains of incised writing behind head. A rare piece that displays beautifully.
