A stunning man's seal ring depicting a powerful horse jumping over a kylix. Very evocative of the depictions of Pegasus who galloped against monsters guided by his rider Bellerophon in Greek mythology. Masculine in scale.
We believe this ring originated in Scythia which was a region of Eurasia in the classical era, encompassing parts of Central Asia, Eastern Europe and the northern Caucasus. The Scythians inhabited the territory from the 8th century BCE to the 2nd century CE.
Mounted on a stunning Lucite stand for an impressive presentation. It can also be used as a pendant.
