A beautifully detailed large terracotta head wearing a conical hat with long waved hair and smiling expression. Face with plump features and dimpled cheeks, the pupils of the eyes depressed. The body below the neck is missing. The waved hair In the back falls on the shoulders to a low cut gown.
Mounted on a custom early 20th century English oak stand with nice graining which adds to its provenance.
